Tips to Speed up Browsers

No matter how fast your Internet speed is, there will come a time when it will slow down until you notice it was never as same as before. Although there are several ways of improving browser speed, this article will focus on how to increase the speed of your Internet browser without installing any software. Think of this as a system maintenance or clean up that everyone should do every once in a while to get the most from your Internet connection.

  1. Firefox
    • Go to Tools present at MenuBar
    • Go to Clear Recent History
    • Select Time range for all the time and tick all the components.

  2. Google Chrome
    • Go to Wrench Icon
    • Options
    • Under the Hood
    • Clear Browsing Data
    • Select Time range for all the time and tick all the components
  3. In most browsers(Windows) Pressing Ctrl+Shift+Delete take user to a dialog box that prompt to delete entire browsing data of the browser. However take at Blog present at the image attribution at the introduction.

 

Using System Resources
  1. Disk Defragmenter
    • In Windows 7, Go to Start Menu and Type disk defrag, run it.
    • In Windows XP, Go to, Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter.
  2. Disk Cleanup
    • In Windows 7, Go to Start Menu and Type disk cleanup, run it.
    • In Windows XP, Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup
  3. You can run Disk Defragmenter and Disk Cleanup to power up your hard disk as well as computer so the browser.
